Bio

Born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Averi began playing volleyball in Grade 6 and later developed her skills at Korah Collegiate. With limited competitive opportunities in the North, she earned a U Sports commitment to Nipissing University, where she played four seasons while studying Nursing. She later joined Queen’s University for her Master’s, transitioning into coaching after an ACL injury. After two years as an assistant coach, she returned home to lead the Ignite 14U club team, then played a final season at Humber College—winning a provincial title and finishing second at Nationals.

Now back in the Sault, she’s excited to assist the Sault College’s women’s volleyball team and help build something special.
