Bio

Bronson is entering his fourth season as an assistant coach for the women's hockey team. After playing minor hockey in Sault Ste. Marie, he continued his hockey career at the NCAA Division 3 level suiting up for the Hobart Statesmen for 4 seasons. During his tenure at Hobart, Bronson was named to the ECAC West all academic team, named a team captain junior and senior year, and led the Statesmen to two conference titles and an NCAA birth in his final season.

Upon graduating with a double major in Sociology and Anthropology, Bronson went on to play 6 years of professional hockey in Hungary where he won a Hungarian Cup and National Championship and was a Captain for three seasons. While overseas, he also had the opportunity to play for the Hungarian national team.

Kovacs has been a key contributor behind the bench for the three consecutive ACHA National Championships in Women's Division 2, including a 31-0-0 record in 2023.
